Services in our office include nitrous oxide(laughing gas), oral sedation before appointments by prescription anti-anxiety medications, and in certain cases, in-office IV sedation. Sedation can be offered with new oral medications, in most cases. This eliminates the need for the IV, which some people may find objectionable. Dr. Galbo has been administering sedation for 20 years and continously certified in anesthesiology and emergency medicine required by the state. He holds a State of Georgia sedation permit. Also, patients requiring general anesthesia can be handled in a hospital environment for their safety. Dr. Galbo has been on the medical/surgical staff of Piedmont Newnan Hospital  for 21 years. Our office is unique because of the services we offer to keep you comfortable, such as, The Wand anesthetic delivery system and one visit crowns to elimate the impression and temporary crown. Crown and Bridge-We are one of only 40 offices in the Atlanta area to offer one visit Computer Generated Crowns, Veneers, Inlays and Onlays. These state of the art ceramic/porcelain restorations are 30% stronger than lab fabricated crowns and look more natural than anything we have seen. This technique called Cad-Cam (Cerec by name) offers no impressions, no temporary crowns, and no second visits, thereby eliminating the need for a second round of anesthesia. Tooth Whitening-At Home or In Office (Power Whitening) Cosmetic Dentistry-Dr. Galbo has been doing beautiful cosmetic dentistry since it came to the for front of dentistry in 1982. All aspects of proper esthetic evaluation, consultation, treatment. We also frankly discuss any limitations that may apply in specific cases. Tooth colored or traditional silver amalgam fillings, as well as porcelain inlays which are much stronger and have a lifetime warranty. Root canal services- We treat with the latest in technological advances that provide more efficient and less traumatic treatment than in the past. Oral surgery procedures-including extractions, both simple and surgical, gum grafts, implant placement in conjunction with an oral surgeon or periodontist, crown lenghtening (a procedure necessary in certain cases before crown placement), surgery to optimize denture fit before denture fabrication, and other minor surgical procedures. Periodontal or "gum disease treatment"- We carefully check each new patient with a thorough gum exam and our established patients are checked regularly. Early diagnosis leads to more effective less expensive and ultimately easier treatment. Prostheics-Dentures and Partials on a case by case basis TMJ therapies and treatment- We offer a wide range of therapies related to easing the symtpoms of TMJ disorders. Dr. Galbo has subspecialized in diagnosis and treatment of TMD and was a sufferer himself. We use the latest x-ray and computer technology to help us reach very high levels of success in diagnosing and treating these disorders. Occlusal guards, sports guards, snore appliances are also available. Orthodontic treaments, limited and comprehensive, for children, teens, and adults are available.
